  • the specialization via a Master 2 (research or professional) in one of the many branches of public law.

Passing the CAPA

After your Master 2, you will need to pass the CAPA (Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession) to become a public lawyer. This is a national examination that you can prepare for by enrolling in an Institute of Judicial Studies. During the exams, you must take tests in obligation law, contentious administrative procedure, and administrative law.
